  1. WORD DEMONS This multiple-choice program 
  2. helps students master commonly confused and 
  3. misused words. Each sentence contains up to 
  4. four underlined choices, one which may be a 
  5. word demon, such as a near sound-alike, a 
  6. commonly misused word, or a word with 
  7. multiple meanings. In response to a wrong 
  8. answer, the computer shows the corrected 
  9. sentence and explains why it is right.
